Serve it up as bite-sized appetizers, in a satisfying bowl, or even as tacos for a flavor-packed meal that’s sure to impress!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (6-oz) salmon fillets, skin-on or skinless
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 12 tbsp sriracha, to taste
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and cut into bite-sized pieces, if desired.
  3. In a shallow dish, mix together the salt, pepper, and cornstarch.
  4. Lightly brush the salmon pieces with olive oil, then dredge them in the cornstarch mixture, shaking off any excess.
  5. Place the coated salmon pieces in the air fryer basket, ensuring they’re not overcrowded. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. While the salmon cooks, prepare the Bang Bang sauce. In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth.
  7. Once the salmon is done, transfer it to a large bowl and pour the Bang Bang sauce over top. Toss gently to coat evenly.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, and fresh cilantro.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy your crispy, spicy Bang Bang Salmon!

Notes

  • For extra crunch, you can coat the salmon pieces in panko breadcrumbs before air frying.
  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less sriracha to the sauce.
  • If you prefer a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for the mayonnaise in the sauce.
  • Leftover Bang Bang Salmon can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, place the salmon back in the air fryer at 350°F for 3-5 minutes, until warmed through and crispy.
