Ingredients
- 2.5–3 pounds mussels (20–30 pieces).
- 1 head garlic, minced.
- 100 grams butter, softened.
- 5 tablespoons breadcrumbs.
- ½ cup milk.
- ¼ teaspoon salt.
- 1 block (165 grams) quick-melt cheese.
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Heat your oven to 355°F/180°C. Line your baking tray with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Cook the Mussels:
- Place cleaned mussels in a large pot.
- Add ¼ cup water.
- Cover and cook over medium-low heat until shells open.
- Let cool slightly and remove the extra shell.
- Make the Sauce:
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and cook until tender.
