Baked Fish and Rice (Sea Bass)

Ingredients

  • 2 sea bass fillets
  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 lemon (sliced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
 
2. Prepare the Rice: In a large oven-safe baking dish, combine the jasmine rice, vegetable broth, minced garlic, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir well.

3. Add Fish: Lay the sea bass fillets on top of the rice mixture. Season the fish with salt, pepper, and place lemon slices on top.

4. Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.

5. Finish Cooking: Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

6. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and enjoy your one-pan meal!
